Kobe Bryant: Simply The Best!

Kobe Bryant

Are you a fan of Kobe Bryant? If so, then you would agree with me that he's definitely one of the most exciting basketball players to watch in the NBA, right? Absolutely!

If there's a go-to player that you would like to have on your basketball team that you can count on to make that last second shot to possibly win the game for your team when all hope seem lost, Kobe Bryant is definitely your man.

Kobe Bryant has that unexplainable "thing" that the great basketball players (like Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas)before him had that enables him to rise up to the challenge without fear.

Kobe is the complete package...He can shoot the ball from anywhere on the court, especially at the free throw line when it sometimes counts the most; he's got great court vision; he's got great ball handling skills; he can play great defense; and, he's got an amazingly high basketball IQ.

Check out this Kobe Bryant highlight reel...

But, you know what, what's makes Kobe Bryant even more "special" is that he's got the heart of a champion. He just doesn't give up. And, that quality is what separates him by a HUGE margin from every other player in the NBA with the exception of players like Lebron James.

But for right now though, I think that it wouldn't be unfair to place Kobe Bryant over Lebron James. Don't get me wrong LBJ23 is an exciting, extremely gifted basketball player to watch in his own rights but he hasn't won a championship ring yet. Kobe has already won four championship rings and counting.

I know what you're thinking...Kobe wouldn't have been able to win his first three NBA titles without Shaq. And, there would be some truth and validity to that argument; but, the fact of the matter is that, Shaq also needed Kobe to win those three NBA titles--that was simply teamwork at its best.

In my opinion, before they got "separated", Kobe and Shaq were undoubtedly one of the best one-two-punch in the NBA at one time. The best example of the great chemistry that once existed between Kobe and Shaq was when Kobe Bryant made an alley hoop pass to Shaq for dunk during the NBA playoffs years ago. Do you remember? That was awesome!

Not only can Kobe Bryant single handedly take over a basketball game like Michael Jordan did during his prime due to his great athletism and scoring prowess, he's also a double threat or a "nightmare" to opposing teams because he has learned over time how to share the ball with his teammates and how to also create plays for them in critcal game situations, especially when he's been double-teamed.

You see, Kobe, like all great basketball players attract so much attention every time he touches this ball. However, he's definitely proven that he's an unstoppable force to be reckoned with and he has the championship rings to prove it. This is one of the reasons why kids and adults alike all over the world buy Kobe Brant jerseys and wear them proudly.

More Kobe Bryant highlights...

What's even more impressive about Kobe Bryant is that, he's such a dominant basketball player that we often forget that he never played college basketball; he was drafted into the NBA right out of high school.

At the time, practically everyone thought he was making a huge mistake by going straight into the NBA but I guess Kobe knew something we all didn't...He had the belief that he was "ready" to compete and succeed at the highest level. And, boy, did he make believers out of his naysayers?

Will Kobe ever ecclipse Michael Jordan as the greatest basketball player of all time? Well, the jury is still out on that one. But, I think it's safe to say that he's well on his way.
