The Miami Heat vs New York Knicks Game Highlights, 12/17/2010!

December 18, 2010...

Did you watch the Miami Heat versus the New York Knicks basketball game last night? If not, you missed quite an exciting game especially if you are a fan of the Miami Heat.

Just like Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls used to "torture" Patrick Erwing and the New York Knicks back in the day, Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh basically showed the Knicks and the rest of the NBA why they've been dubbed the "Big Three" by steamrolling over Amare Stoudemire and the New York Knicks while increasing their winning streak to 11 in a row with a lopsided 113-91 victory over the NY Knicks!

You can watch the game highlights between the Miami Heat and New York Knicks below...

The Miami Heat vs New York Knicks Preview, 12/17/2010!

December, 17, 10.

Tonight is the night we've all been waiting for...

Lebron James and the "red hot" Miami Heat are taking their "Big Three" talents to the "Big Apple" to faceoff against Amare Stoudemire and the seemingly resurrected New York Knicks at 7pm ET live on ESPN.

How important is this game for both teams?

Even though this game is a regular season game, it does have the "feel" or buzz of a NBA playoff game.

Remember when Michael Jordan and the Bulls and Patrick Ewing and the Knicks used to go at it during the playoffs?

Those were certainly exciting games to watch!

Tonight's game between the Heat and the Knicks is hardly a Bulls-Knicks type rivalry yet, but I think it suffices to say that both the Miami Heat and the NY Knicks are seeking the same thing: respect.

However, I think it is safe to say that the pressure is more on the shoulders of the Big Three and their coach (Eric S)to win this game, if they would like to be taken seriously and at least thought of as a team that has the makings of becoming one of the elite teams in the NBA, and especially if they would like to be looked at as a formidable contender for the NBA championship.

Why?

Because, even though Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh seem to have found some kind of chemistry and are playing better basketball together these days and they have successfully put together a nice string of wins (9 in a row), they are still not considered a "for real" team, yet.

This is mainly because, their recent wins have come against teams that have been mediocre at best.

In other words, the Miami Heat have yet to win against championship-caliber teams like the Boston Celtics or Kobe Bryant and the "Showtime" Lakers.

Therefore, this game tonight is basically a must-win for the Miami Heat.

As far as Amare and the NY Knicks are concerned, unlike the hoopla surrounding the Miami Heat and the BIG Three, no one really expects them to win because the Knicks have been on the losing end for quite a few years now.

With that being said, the Knicks have a new swagger with the addition of Amare and are "hungry" and highly motivated to prove to their fans and the other the NBA teams that they are a force to be reckoned with.

So, which team will become the victor tonight?

My guess is that the Miami Heat will come away victorious over the New York Knicks, because it would be mighty difficult to guard against the Big Three, especially now that they seem to have found a formula for successfully wining basketball games. What you think?
